Cineteket in Ystad
In addition to insights on how movies are made, visitors get a chance to see movie shows, try to make their own animations, meet the people behind the films, try film tricks, and much more.
Visitors can follow the work of making a Swedish film in our film exhibition - which begins with storytelling and ends with a visit to our cozy little short film cinema. On the way visitors are given the opportunity to create their own stories, learn about film production, go into the movie scenes and read the screenplay, make animations and be a part of a trick shot with blue screens.
We are particularly proud of our unique collection Wallander props consisting of scenery, clothes and props from both the Swedish and English productions. For children and adults we can offer a "police play house" where you can photograph yourself as criminals, shoot with Wallander's weapon and try fingerprinting.
End your tour at our Café with coffee, cold drinks and delicious cakes.
