American jazz organist Joey DeFrancesco came to fame in the 1980s and has been one of the leading figures in the renaissance of the Hammond organ.

At the age of 17, he joined Miles Davis and his band for a European concert tour. In 2018, he released an album with Van Morrison, “You’re Driving me Crazy.” Tracks from Joey DeFrancesco’s latest album, “In the Key of the Universe” (2019) will feature in tonight’s late night concert.
DeFrancesco has recorded and/or toured with his own groups as well as numerous renowned artists including Ray Charles, Diana Krall, Nancy Wilson, George Benson, James Moody, John Scofield, Bobby Hutcherson, Jimmy Cobb, John McLaughlin, Larry Coryell, David Sanborn and many more.
