The Zier Romme Trio from Denmark and the Sven Erik Lundeqvist Trio from Sweden will be presenting music from their new albums on Storyville Records – Europe’s oldest independent jazz label, founded in Denmark in 1952.

Zier Romme points to Oscar Peterson as his greatest inspiration. On their new album ‘Stories’, the Zier Romme Trio present a fresh interpretation of the music of the 1960s and 70s when jazz was swinging in trios and quartets.

The Malmö-based Sven Erik Lundeqvist Trio studied at Malmö Academy of Music together and have a passion for real swinging, improvisational music rooted in the jazz tradition with a modern touch.

This showcase concert will feature two 50-minute sets with a 20-minute break between sets.
